Way back in 2010, I visited the Trewellyn Preserve and shared a series of photos. I returned the other day armed with my 10-stop Neutral Density filter and a small tripod.

I used manual exposure with f22 and 20 seconds @ ISO 100 and converted the image to monochrome. I like the dreamy quality of the waterfall and the silky reflection of the bridge.

The trifecta? Monochrome + Reflection + Bridge = The Weekend in Black and White 9-May-14, Weekend Reflections #241, and Sunday Bridges (it seems that Louis’s blog has disappeared!). I apologize to the meme owners, they do not like multiple submissions, but I think it’s a great way to cross-pollinate.

I provided a monochrome and color version; personally, I like the color best. Β It’s not HDR, the colors are enhanced due to the long exposure.
