I took this along a path in Kelly Park using a wide-angle (8mm) lens. The downed tree was a result of Sandy, it gives you the feeling of being trapped.

hemming you in, for sure.
Great shot! The dark branches are perfect for black and white!
Nice photo, Perfect in B&W!
Dramatic, almost a haunted landscape! Beautiful!
Great silhouettes, and I love the light and shadows.
Frame this one too. The oppressive feeling is incredibly strange.
Wayne….This shot amazes me…it is like looking at another far away mystical land. The huge tree in the middle is awesome with it bare branches stretched out. One fine capture. genie
Incrível, fiquei pensando se é a lente que dá esse efeito misterioso e profundo. Adorei, beijos!
Wonderful picture full of shadows – I love that. Thanks for sharing
Have a super weekend
Really excellent, creative and professional looking photography ~ Enjoy ^_^
Incredible effect – that curved trunk really gave it an odd framing.
