the corner

During our trip out west this summer, we visited Telluride, CO. and I took a few photos of an old cabin.  I like the interlocking corner boards in monochrome.  I applied a Kodak Tri-x 400 film emulation to give it that grainy look.  A contribution to The Weekend in Black and White November 20, 2015.

    Wonderful details.

  6. I took a few photos like this one in Cody, WY. In mono, sepia and colour. I don’t think any turned out as fantastic as yours!

  7. Grand perspective of the wood textures. Like an arty etching.

Old wood and Tri-X is a combination made in heaven – beautifully done. Personally, it reminds me of some shots I made “in the old days” of an old boat house using Kodak Tri-X film.

  12. I love your corner. Beautiful composition and texture of the old wood 🙂
