signs of summer

Regular visitors know my wife and I (mostly my wife) raise Black Swallowtail butterflies and have been doing so for many years. She plants tons of parsley to attract adults to lay their eggs. Once the egg hatch and the caterpillars get 1/4″ long, we bring them inside and raise them in containers. Once they emerge from the chrysalis, we put them back outside.

This one came out yesterday. It complements the Indian blanket flower nicely.  There are SOOC, no post processing except for the watermark.
