second

As I mentioned in ‘first‘, there was a second chrysalis (saved over the Winter) and it emerged Sunday. This guys wings hadn’t quite dried, so he willingly climbed on my hand and then on to the pansy.

I’ll submit this for Guest Heart #211 (the top shot has hearts near the tip of the wings, the bottom shot is a macro of one of the hearts.  You won’t be seeing more of these until later in the Summer, get them while they’re hot!

What a difference 50mm makes. I would love to have that 100mm lens. Your captures wowed me as always. Think I will take the butterfly over the bee.
