I shot this along the tracks for the Septa R5. I’m not sure, but I think this sign is an indicator to the engineer that the train is approaching a station, since the Chalfont station is about a mile from this sign.

I used to drive subway trains. There were similar signs throughout the tunnels and under the platforms that told the drivers what they needed to know.
PS: I don’t really know why but I find your photo quite attractive.

I’ve seen those signs here next to the road not a railway station and usually it means the road is windy, funny seeing what it means around the world. Great photo Wayne 🙂
I often wonder what the symbols around RR tracks mean.
