I took this way back in April, 2009, bit I don’t think I ever posted this photo. This is the Reedy Island Rear Range Lighthouse in Delaware. It’s just off Route 9 and easily viewed from the road.

I am used to seeing lighthouses closer to the water than this one.

That is really cool, but I can’t help but feel worn out just thinking of the climb.
Interesting lighthouse. It reminds me of an old oil well.
I’ve never seen one without an outer “skin” Very interesting lighthouse!
