This is taken with a 100mm macro lens with 65mm of extension tubes. It’s the center of a cone flower. My contribution to The Weekend in Black and White 15-August-2014 and I heart macro #66

I first thought it was a large number og ball-point pens, but then I read the text . A truly great piece of art!
Wow! Incredible macro.
Great photo and idea.
Stunning macro! Wonderful!
Like some eerie life in a sci-fi movie. Stunning.
Absolutely gorgeous macro shot! Looks great in B&W!
Amazing macro monochrome!
Each one looks like it about to pop out and explode. Great shot!
Nice shot. There are some many different ways to be a flower!

I would never have thought to change Echinacea into a monochrome. But hey! This turned out well!
Fabulous image, Wayne!
Cool shot, Now I am guessing you had to do manual focus as I use a small 13mm extension and that’s enough to kill my AF. But We get by 😀
