I’ll be away for a bit, so I probably won’t be visiting and commenting. I’ve scheduled the remainder of the ‘Abandoned Chalfont’ series, I appreciate your visits and comments.
This is St. James Church, another stop on the abandoned Chalfont tour. The church has been shuttered for at least 4 years. I featured this shot in 2011. Behind the church is Brighton Place, which I recently posted here. I recently saw a sign for a cemetery restoration service and I noticed some of the gravestones were righted.
Rumor has it that a developer will be transforming it into a restaurant. Like so many other projects in Chalfont, I’ll believe it when I see it.
I thought this sign was fitting. No parking in the cemetery.
