into the sun

Any idea what this is?  Don’t worry, I won’t keep you guessing, the answer is below.  My contribution to The Weekend in Black and White 30-May-2014.

into the sun

This is the road surface of the Camp Wawa road truss bridge, currently closed.  I was able to get the grate to contrast so well by walking out to the middle of the bridge and turning back to face the sun before snapping the photo.  The reflecting sun really made the grid pop.  Here’s a different view of the bridge.
