I spied this guy at a local park earlier today. I believe he’s a purple finch, but there’s nothing purple about him. It was very gracious of him to pose for me. We’ve had another rainy stretch, so it was pretty cloudy when I took this.

My wife and I went to Emeril’s Chop House in the Sands Casino in Bethlehem for our wedding anniversary last month. Afterwards, we played a few slots, she broke even, I lost a few $$$.

I haven’t posted for a while because I haven’t touched my camera for a while (more than 2 weeks!). I even got a new lens that I’ve barely touched

Nothing special, just a brown headed cowbird and a mocking bird coexisting and making pigs of themselves on the bird feeders.

Flowers for Leontien

I heard from fellow blogger TexWisGirl that another blogger, Leontien Vandelaar, has been battling cancer and could use a little support by blogging a flower post. Rather than settle for just a single flower, I thought a whole field may be a more appropriate form of support, so here you go. A army of flowers thumbing their noses at cancer. One from the archives, photography time has been very limited of late. One of the abandoned buildings from Linfield Industrial Park. Although it was a cloudy day, the bright clouds provided a nice overexposed background.

Converted to monochrome using Silver EFEX Pro using Ilford Delta 3200 Pro film emulation.

The Delaware Valley Norton Riders host a gathering every Spring called ‘The Gathering of the Norton’s, which I attended this year for the first time. The weather was great and the bikes, plentiful, from all manufacturers. This red one caught my eye, I’m not sure its age, but I’d guess from the 70′s.
