dark side

I love my Canon DSLR dearly, but I’m tired of lugging a a big, heavy camera and lens. I patiently waited for Canon to come out with a mirrorless ILC, but the ‘M’ just didn’t cut it and there doesn’t seem to be anything on the horizon, so I jumped ship to the dark side to a Sony A-6000. I still have my Canon and will keep it for the foreseeable future, but I’m pretty stoked at this little beauty. I have a bunch to learn about the details, but it’s pretty intuitive.  First, a crappy cell phone shot of the newbie.

I know what you mean about the weight!!! A friend of ours got a Leica point and shoot that has a really nice lens range…and another friend has been looking at a Fuji…not sure if it was an attached lens or interchangeable lens…I’ve thought about looking around too…but I feel guilty after getting the N d700…which was my wildest dream!!!

Looks nice. I like a good bridge camera to carry when I go hiking or about town. I have been quite pleased with mine.
