broken

A few weeks ago, I broke a solar-powered color-changing LED decoration from the landscaping.  I was wondering what do do with it, this is what i came up with.

After dark, I set the camera on a tripod and aimed it into the yard, where it would be very dark. I triggered some long-exposure photos and used the LED to draw some images.

I hope you like some of them. There are a lot, sorry. My favorite is at the bottom with an explanation of how I created it.

The electrical connection became intermittent, which causes the light to go out for brief periods.

This one is my favorite.  I started far away from the camera to one side of the field of view and walked across the field, towards the camera while making larger circles.
