a few from Ralph Stover park

I visited Ralph Stover Park shortly after a few inches of fresh snow and got some nice shots.  This is a view from the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Tohickon creek.

Here’s the same bridge from the bank of the creek in monochrome and color.  I couldn’t decide which one I liked better, but I think the color shot highlights the ice in the creek. This was taken 5 or 6 days ago and it’s been unusually cold, so I imagine this is much more frozen at this point.

This bridge is the launch point for the whitewater event that happens in November and March that I mentioned in the prior post.

I like very much the perspective of the first photo and the angle of shooting which you chose for two others, whether it is in black and white or in color.

  2. I don’t know why bridges are so satisfying to walk over – they just are.

wow that is some pretty scenery, I think the black and white shot really does it some justice.
