old red

This is a shot of the Old Red Museum in Dallas Texas, at night (in case you were wondering), converted to monochrome using Silver Efex Pro.  Unfortunately, the museum was closed and I was unable to return when it was open, maybe next time I visit.  I like the details revealed in the stonework.

My contribution to The Weekend in Black and White 23-Dec-2011.

It is very dramatic in b&w – I really like it – though it does seem a mite bit spooky as Cieldequimper said …

Yes, the stonework is very fine, and the lit windows are telling stories. A special shot.

Cool shot! I lived about a half hour from there before I lived in Newtown but I didn’t even recognize it in black and white.

  14. Great tones and textures Wayne. The building looks like a shot from a scary movie.
