bug eyed

This photo bugs out my eyes.  The sharp contrast and intersecting horizontal/vertical lines just drive my eyes crazy, so I though I’d share the love.  I converted this to monochrome using Silver Efex Pro. I used the ‘Ilford Delta 100 Pro’ film emulation preset with a few other tweaks.  This was taken in Irving, TX.

A submission for The Weekend in Black and White 9-December-2011

Great shot and Post Processing, I can see why it makes you eyes go a bit weird though LOL. It has a graphic artsy quality though-well done:)

  9. Bugs my eyes out too Wayne. Nice work. I like the way you’ve captured the midtones (and the shadows) in this shot.

WOW!! This is a super shot….the kind I love. Linear, linear, linear. What a great job you did with the processing. My eyes are buggy and jumpy all the time, so it did not bother me in the least. I just kept looking and looking, watching it jump all around my screen. Great shot. genie
