face

This was taken at my son’s 7th grade band concert.  I snapped a shot right after the stage lights went down so there was minimal light (thank you, Captain Obvious).  This is a crop of one of the band members face, converted to monochrome.  The second shot is some bizarre Lightroom artifact, but I thought it was pretty cool.

While it looks like he’s sleeping, he’s actually reaching to change the music.  Pretty artsy for a left-brained engineer.

Wow, I am married to a left brained engineer! LOL. He just doesn’t get my artsy stuff. I show him something I think is soooo cool and he just likes the plain old shot best. To each his own. I am impressed that you can step out of that box.

I like the black and white cause it has less light. It looks like a dream.

  3. Nice treatment in both images, Mr. Left-Brained Engineer!
    ;-D

  4. Black and white one beautiful and absorbing. Red one a bit weird.

I love the b&w version – it is like an old Victorian photograph and is so dreamy.

Captain Obvious and Mr. Artsy Engineer showing up in the same post!? Don’t know if the fan base can stand it.
