Another shot of the falls at Ringing Rock park. I choose a wide-angle zoom at 10mm with a 4x Neutral Density filter. The photo was post-processed in Topaz to give it some HDR-pop.
I shot this with my ‘old’ camera. I’d like to return some day with my new one and do some exposure bracketing and see what a ‘real’ HDR might look like.
Submitted for Shadow Shot Sunday #154
Serenity. So beautiful. You’ll have to show it to us with leaves!
Lovely setting, I really like waterfalls a lot!
God bless you!

That’s lovely! I like what you were able to capture with wide-angle lens!
That’s pretty! I love the look of water on a slow shutter like that.
great shot – love all the horizontal / vertical contrasts in the scene
I can hear the soothing sounds of the water flowing…
A SEEKER OF SHADOWS
A seeker of shadows, they say,
Will keep her eyes peeled night and day
For resident shades
That haunt the dark glades
And never come outside to play.

Very nicely done.
Re your next trip there: My father used to bracket all his shots, and it was amazing to see the differences when Mom and I helped check his projected 35mm slides to see which would be best for a magazine story or for one of his books about rivers.

I went to ringing rocks once…had forgotten that ’til now. I think your “fake” HDR is just fine.
The layer of stone is beautiful, the effects of water to wear away the rock to the defined tiers here is great. The myriad number of individual waterfalls and fallling water is s nice effect, too. Lovely landscaping!
I like it! You givin’ me the itch to get out and photograph now that the weather’s nice (I just gotta finish up spring cleaning first!) Cheers!
Gorgeous shadow shot!
My Shadow Shots, have a blessed Sunday!
Once again…………breathtaking!!!

Have a glorious Sunday. If you find time, your visit with me today would be much appreciated!!
Beautiful area!
Very cool shot.
Very nice shot, Wayne. I hope you return to shoot it when the foliage is out for a comparison. Excellent choice of shutter speed here.
