A new Canon 7D! I’ve been saving for one for months and with my birthday approaching, my wife offered to make a substantial contribution to the new camera fund. Her timing was perfect because Canon announced a price increase on this model and it would have taken me even longer to save enough money 
In addition to being a spectacular photo camera it can capture High Definition video. The video capability didn’t really interest me until I played with that feature and I was completely amazed, so you might see a video or two here some day.

Yay! I love new camera things… especially when they are gifts!!!! Or even “part” gifts. I hope you thoroughly enjoy your new 7D, Wayne. But I already don’t have a doubt in the world that you are. And I’m looking forward to seeing your videos. Like you, I also have the HD video on the 5D Mk II and you know, I haven’t done a damn thing with it aside from some pug videos. What the hell is wrong with me? Maybe we should collaborate on a video project to motivate one another?
