train bridge

Happy New Year!  I’m probably still sleeping when this posts.

Another shot from the Glenside Train Station bridge.  It’s almost monochrome, but not quite.  I applied a red HSL filter and if you look at the roof’s and chimney’s of the row houses, you can see the red.  The pole in the foreground also has the red component of the brown showing ever so slightly.

Submitted for Shadow Shot Sunday #137 and Sunday Bridges.

Just a reminder, if you click on the picture, it will enlarge with the EXIF as the caption.  Alternately, you can hover your mouse over the photo to see the EXIF as a caption.

I also notice the telephone pole is brown. But I do like that row of chimneys peeking up.

  2. Really interesting colors and what a terrific capture! I do hope you’ve had a great holiday weekend, Woody, and that you’re new year is off to a great start! Enjoy!

There is something about an urban train, swaying side to side on the tracks within an urban neighborhood. Perhaps it is a SEPTA train on the Mainline, moving commuters into a center city. While making a symphonic vibration for the unfortunate residents…

    Happy New Year!
