peeling paint

It never hurts to go back through photos.  You may come across ones you may have forgotten or didn’t jump out at the time.  This is the paint peeling off an old barn I shot back in April.

Submitted for Shadow Shot Sunday #133.

I have so many old ones to go through but they are on an external drive and it is too much bother. ;( Peely paint is a great subject.

I should watch through my old photos – and get rid of some (hundreads) of them too.

This is an excellent b&w with clear detailsl. I like it a lot!

  6. Fantastic capture as always, Woody! The B&W is perfect and while I wouldn’t normally enjoy peeling paint, this is wonderful! Such delightful shadows it leaves! You’re not only a very talented photographer, but very creative with a great eye for beauty! Have a great weekend!

The peeling paint in the whole is an eyesore to most of us. However, each flaky piece seems more attractive, the feeling of 3-D depth is reinforced by the individual shadow of each peel. What is not considered in reality looking nice, seems transformed here…

  8. This is very much my kind of photo! Excellent shadow shot.

Cool! There’s something about it that makes you turn your head this way and that to look at it. It’s funny, I’ve got one somewhat similiar sitting in my archives!
