This is a shot of the train bridge at the Glenside Train station. Beyond the railing are steps leading down to street level. Not a glamorous or sexy bridge, just rusty concrete from the railings.
I applied an orange HSL filter and increased the saturation to bring out the colors.
Submitted for Sunday Bridges and Shadow Shot Sunday #134.
I’m wondering what a “sexy” bridge looks like!
Just kidding…
God bless you!
Cezar
Maybe not sexy, but lots of cool lines and textures.
Terrific capture as always, Woody! Love the rust color! The perfect touch! And wonderful shadows! Hope your weekend goes well! Enjoy!

Nice lines and shadows.
You’ve done it again. ‘Not glamorous or sexy’ is an understatement I think but you’ve made it interesting.
great shadows here…I remember that train station too!
Nice shot!
How observant you must be to have seen these wonderful shadows!
Woody – let’s be sure to link this to Sunday Bridges. Linky will be open at 1501 hrs CA time Saturday afternoon.
the result is great …
i like the cold, urban feel to this photo.
I recently photographed a local bridge with the same sort of style, located in a sort of industrial part of a neighboring small city.
I like the angle from which you took this.

great shadows…rust against the textures of stone. i rather like it!!
rust makes some interesting texture and patterns and is seriously underrated (except by phoitographers, perhaps?)
I’m not a fan of fancy bridges and much prefer the simple looking ones such as this structure. I do really like the rusty concrete of this one!
Well done, my friend, well done.
i like the rustic tones. i wonder what a sexy bridge looks like:p
interesting photo…
«Louis» thanks you for linking this to Sunday Bridges.
Great shot with all those verticals.
As long as it’s stable
Great use of filters to bring out those shades…. Clear and crisp too.
the shadows are wonderful
I love the texture of the concrete and the colors of the rust
Beautiful shadow shot!

Great continuity in the angles. It’s a very compelling photo–lots to explore visually here!
