what do i do?

The signage struck me funny.

This is the front of the Roberts Block building in Glenside, PA.  It’s a cool old building, built ~1916.   Believe it or not, it’s in better shape now than some shots I saw of it from 2 years ago.

This shot is reminiscent of an east coast version of some of T. Becque photos.

  1. Excellent, vivid b&w if that makes sense. I could do with some help too and am getting it. I’m waiting for a friend to arrive to start the Christmas cooking. Shopping will be tomorrow.
I try to stick to the same rule as you: no Xmas shopping in December unless I know exactly what I want and where to go!

  2. Make that baking instead of cooking, lol!

The look of the past is all over. Alas, the building, built when buildings were meant to last is not in use. But has lasted so long. I hope the plywood doors may still open…

Did you ask what kind of work they were offering???

Makes one wonder what they are thinking when they write this up (or not clearly!)
Makes for a good pic though! Love it.
