abandoned 1.4

Back to the abandoned building in Ambler.  In Abandoned 1.3, I showed you broken windows on the upper part of a building.  This is the very bottom of the building.  I wrestled with color vs monochrome, they were both cool.
This entrance looked very inviting, but I didn’t have the time to explore!  Too bad because now it’s not readily accessible.  The lower right is over exposed, it was a sunny, HOT day.

My submission for Shadow Shot Sunday #124

  1. It’s always fun to explore a neat place such as this with a camera. Too bad it’s not accessible any longer.

  2. What a terrific capture, Woody! I love the B&W, it just seems to better picture the sense of abandonment. Great one! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!

The place looks great and is a perfect fit with a black and white capture. Great shot!

  8. Well you picked the perfect month to post this photo. It seems to have a bit of a spooky theme to it. It is a great photo with lots of shadow and light.

Isn’t it interesting how you can pass by things such as abandoned buildings and see them as mundane but, capture them in a photo and they become totally something different.

    Thanks for sharing!!

  9. Very interesting place to photograph, so many deep shadows!
