18 minutes later

In 5:33 I showed you the early sunrise at Rehoboth Beach. This was taken 18 minutes later and is a whopping 209 second (3.5 minute) exposure (can’t believe I could wait that long). I used a 10x Netural Density to get that long exposure.  Isn’t the reflection of the old jetty cool against the rocks really cool?

A contribution to Weekend Reflections #201 and Orange you glad it’s Friday #49.

18 minutes later

Susan noticed that the horizon was not quite right, so I cropped it, here’s the results.  Thanks Susan!

209 seconds gave you great results. Did you use a filter?

Stunning. Love the ‘foggy’ feel the water has around the jetty.

Yes it is an amazing reflection. I love the pink tones throughout. The whole image is really cool. Those long exposures give such a dreamy soft quality. Nicely done.
I am totally not being snarky….just wondering if you straightened the horizon line how it might effect the composition. Food for thought. Not critizing, just curious.

No snarkiness taken, I highly value and respect your opinion!!

Ya know, I never noticed the horizon was off. I cropped it and it’s even better, thanks!! I’m contemplating a print and this will help! I’m going to upload another photo with the horizon corrected.

Wow ! I just love the effect on the water : it looks like a strange computer programmed landscape in some video game… The effect is so surreal… Well done, Wayne.
